What is the aim of an electrical report?
The five main aims of an electrical installation condition report are:
To ensure an electrical installation is safe
To locate and damage or deterioration that may cause an electrical installation to become unsafe
To locate any parts of an electrical installation that do not meet the IET Wiring Regulations
To find anything that may cause electric shocks and high temperatures on an electrical installation.
To provide a report of the installation at the time of the inspection, and for inspection testing in the future.
